Three men have been apprehended in connection with a burglary at a Virginia home, police said.
Nicolay Cubillos Pacheco, 29, and Saul Guadalupe Gonzalez, 38, both of whom have no known residence, and Heller Roncancio Espita, 27, of Florida, were detained after allegedly stealing things worth $20,000 to $30,000.
The men stole the items from the 6500 block of Kelsey Point Circle in Kingstowne, Virginia, at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. According to FCPD officers, the home was wrecked, and the front door was not closed when the victim returned home.
A car linked to the burglary was later discovered on the 5600 block of Gary Avenue in Alexandria. Some of the stolen items from the property were discovered, including “items consistent with an organized burglary crew,” according to FCPD.
FCPD officers discovered the following:
- License plate flipping device,
- Cell phone
- Wi-Fi jammers that were used to disrupt security cameras
- Window punches
- Other tools associated with burglaries
According to the FCPD, the men may be linked to previous burglaries in several states around the country.
The accused are being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond. According to authorities, they are facing the following charges:
- Statutory Burglary
- Grand Larceny
- Possession of Stolen Property with Intent to Sell
- Possession of Burglarious Tools.
