The Cincinnati Police Department has turned to social media in the hopes of broadening their search for Michael Menolasino, a missing local man who was last seen in the Pleasant Ridge area on Tuesday, September 16. The Cincinnati Police Department issued a Twitter notice outlining his last known clothes, which included a maroon shirt, gray jogging trousers, and tan work boots. Detective Metz invites anyone with information about Menolasino’s whereabouts to contact him directly at 513-979-4479.
According to a post on the Cincinnati Police Department’s official X account, Menolasino was last seen about a week before the warning was issued. The community’s growing uneasiness, as evidenced by the retweets and comments below the Police Department’s post, coincides with this urgent appeal.
While the authorities have yet to provide additional information about Michael’s disappearance, the few details that have been shared with the public have sparked an all-too-familiar anxiety—a reminder of our collective vulnerability when confronted with the sudden absence of those we know, or in some cases, those we pass by without a second glance, now inexplicably gone from our daily landscape.
