Two people were taken into custody on drug trafficking charges on Monday, September 22, after a multi-day investigation, according to the Gulfport Police Department.
Kevon Jamall Barnes, 29, and Danielle Lashay Jordan, 30, have both been charged with fentanyl trafficking, according to police.
Officers seized more than 40 grams of fentanyl and nine grams of marijuana during the raid. They also seized a firearm, digital scales, plastic packaging materials, and many thousand dollars in cash.
Barnes and Jordan were brought to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, where a judge set their bonds at $250,000 each.
