Concern is mounting in the Allapattah community as police continue searching for Ivan Jose Alonso, a 44-year-old man reported missing since September 14.
Alonso is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing around 230 pounds, with black hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue Brooklyn Dodgers cap, a gray top, dark pants, and gray sneakers, according to the City of Miami Police Department.
Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help locate him. Police have asked the community to spread awareness of the missing person alert.
The case is being handled by the City of Miami Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, led by Detective D. Reyes and other detectives.

To amplify the search, the Miami Police Department also posted on social media, stressing the urgency of the situation:
“MISSING: 44-year-old Ivan Jose Alonso was reported missing from the #Allapattah area. He’s 5’10”, 230lbs.”
Police encouraged anyone with information, no matter how small, to reach out immediately.
