On September 15, 2025, around 8:00 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s deputies from the Rosamond Substation pulled over a vehicle near Rosamond Boulevard and Sierra Highway. The driver, Bridget Ray, was already on felony probation for a prior narcotics sales case.
During a probation search, deputies found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the car. A follow-up search at Ray’s residence revealed much more:
-
A backpack containing about 1,365 oxycodone pills packaged for sale
-
Psilocybin mushrooms
-
Additional methamphetamine
-
Mail linking Ray to the drugs
Authorities estimate the street value of the oxycodone pills at $40,950.
Since the residence sits near a school, Ray now faces enhanced charges for drug sales in a school zone.
She was arrested and booked on multiple charges, including:
-
Possession for sale of a controlled substance
-
Possession of narcotics paraphernalia
-
Sales of narcotics near a school
