Chicago police have charged a man with stabbing another man on the city’s South Side earlier this week.
Donnie Bell, 59, was arrested Thursday and charged with one felony count of aggravated violence with a deadly weapon.
According to police, Bell is the culprit who reportedly stabbed and injured a 43-year-old man in the 7500 block of South Stony Island Avenue in the South Shore area.
It is unclear what prompted the stabbing. Police said Bell was brought into jail approximately an hour after the incident.
He is due to appear at a detention court on Saturday.
