Drivers of two different trucks were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after both collided in Cambria County.
At 3:18 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the site of a crash with entrapment in Chest Springs Borough. According to Ashville Fire Department Chief Scott Sherry, the crash included a garbage truck and a tow vehicle leaving the town on Route 36.
The garbage truck was in motion when the collision happened. The current condition of both drivers is unknown.
The drivers of both trucks were sent to a nearby hospital, and state police are investigating the collision. Sherry also stated that there was no fire or fuel leak as a result of the incident.
The road was closed for a long period; however, it has finally reopened.
