A boy died in a Monday Crash crash walking in front of his mother at 36th Street and McDowell Road, police confirmed Tuesday.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on August 18 at 36th Street and McDowell Road, where cops discovered the youngster in severe condition. He was brought to a hospital and eventually died.
According to a release, detectives from the Phoenix Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Unit investigated the site, where the woman driving the vehicle remained.
According to preliminary information, the youngster “was walking slightly ahead of his mother southbound in the crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicle,” the report claimed.
Impairment is not suspected, and police have launched an inquiry.
