Chicago woman facing DUI and reckless homicide following passenger dies

A woman is facing charges after allegedly driving intoxicated on the Bishop Ford and causing a collision. One of her passengers has died.

Illinois State Troopers responded to a rollover crash near the 130th Street northbound exit.

The driver was identified as 27-year-old Daja Williams of Chicago.

Her two passengers were also hurt, with one taken in critical condition. The 26-year-old man later died of his injuries.

Williams allegedly drove inebriated.

She was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, resulting in death, and reckless murder.
