NYPD Seeks Public Assistance to Locate Suspects in Daylight Subway Robbery in Bronx

Authorities are searching for four suspects in a brutal robbery on a Bronx subway that targeted a 22-year-old man victim. The incident took place last Thursday, according to a recent social media post from NYPD Crime Stoppers. The assault occurred around 11:55 a.m. on a southbound “2” train as it approached the East Tremont Avenue-West Farms stop, which is under the authority of the 48th Precinct/Transit District 12.

As the train approached the station, the group confronted the young man. In a cruel move, one suspect grabbed the victim’s chain while the others threw him to the ground. They hit him in the face and removed the chain and bracelet from his body before fleeing the scene on foot, according to the NYPD Crime Stoppers video.
