Illegal Alien Accused of Causing Fatal Semi-Truck Crash That Killed 3: 'Shocking and Criminal'

Former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron said he is “appalled” by claims that illegal immigrants obtained driver’s licenses after a whistleblower revealed the practice.

An illegal immigrant truck driver has been arrested and faces deportation after allegedly making an unauthorized U-turn in Florida — causing a crash that killed three people.

Harjinder Singh, who entered the U.S. illegally and secured a commercial driver’s license in California, now faces three counts of vehicular homicide, according to a news release from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV).

White House Reaction

“This is a devastating tragedy made even worse by the fact that it was totally preventable,”
White House Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson

Jackson emphasized that “Illegal aliens that have no legal right to be in our country certainly should not be granted commercial drivers’ licenses.”

Crash Details

While driving a semi-truck with a trailer on the Florida Turnpike in Fort Pierce, Singh allegedly attempted a U-turn in a restricted area. The truck jackknifed and slammed into a minivan, killing all three passengers, officials confirmed.

Jackson later added:

“Gavin Newscum’s pro-illegal alien policies have deadly consequences. Yet he continues to double down and put illegals over American citizens.”

Authorities believe Singh crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in 2018. He remains in custody, facing state vehicular homicide charges and immigration violations.

ICE has issued a detainer, according to a statement from the Official White House Rapid Response account.

Official Statement

“The actions taken by the defendant while operating a commercial tractor-trailer are both shocking and criminal,”
Dave Kerner, FLHSMV Executive Director

Kerner added that three lives were lost because of Singh’s recklessness, leaving families and friends to carry the pain forever

A 2013 California law allows residents to obtain a driver’s license regardless of immigration status.
