Parolee Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Chase in South Sacramento

Deputies arrested a 46-year-old parolee after a stolen vehicle pursuit in South Sacramento earlier this month, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies spotted the stolen vehicle near Florin Road and Bowling Drive and attempted a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Tiwan Greenwade, fled, leading deputies on a chase before crashing into an unoccupied parked car.

A search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded firearm, multiple narcotics, marijuana, and pills. Records revealed Greenwade was on parole for manslaughter and barred from possessing a gun.

He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail without bail. His next court date is set for August 18.
