ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas — Authorities arrested four Houston men at an I-30 rest stop in Southwest Arkansas after they were allegedly involved in a St. Louis-area pharmacy burglary and found with more than 25,000 prescription pills.
Bartley Omar White Jr., 21, Erik Dewayne Lyons Jr., 20, Johnathan Dewayne Fore, 29, and Anthony Ray Venwright Jr., 32, are being held in the Clark County Detention Center, each facing eight counts of trafficking a controlled substance.
At least two of the suspects were reportedly caught on surveillance breaking into a Maryland Heights, Missouri, pharmacy around 1:15 a.m. on July 31, 2025. The footage showed the men spending nearly two hours inside, breaking into a secured medication cage and filling bags with various pills before fleeing.
The burglary was reported at 7:34 a.m., and law enforcement in both Missouri and Arkansas moved quickly, making arrests within five hours.
Investigators used surveillance and traffic camera footage to identify a Toyota Rav4 leaving the scene. A BOLO (Be On the LookOut) was issued, and Arkansas State Troopers soon spotted the Rav4 traveling with a Nissan Rogue — rented in Houston — and conducted a traffic stop at the Pilot Travel Center in Caddo Valley.
Authorities found two large trash bags filled with prescription bottles hidden in the spare tire compartments of the vehicles. Three of the four suspects gave statements during police questioning.
Clark County Sheriff Jason Watson said the group may be involved in organized crime, noting their use of multiple vehicles and license plates, as well as traveling long distances to avoid detection.
All four suspects await a court appearance on Monday. Officials have not yet confirmed whether they will be extradited to Missouri.
