LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A home on Confederate Place Drive suffered heavy damage after a fire early Christmas morning.
Calls came in around 1 a.m., and crews from Peewee Valley, South Oldham Fire, and AMFEMS arrived on scene just two minutes later. The fire was located at the back of the house, and it took 20 firefighters from the three agencies about 30 minutes to bring it under control.
No injuries were reported. One cat was rescued, but another remains missing. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
