BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Authorities have identified the woman found dead on Ohio Drive in June as 63-year-old Linda Mae Hampton of Bakersfield.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office said the cause and manner of Hampton’s death remain undetermined following an autopsy.
Officers found Hampton unresponsive around 6:03 a.m. on June 29, 2025, in the 1500 block of Ohio Drive.
The Bakersfield Police Department investigated the incident.
