At least one person was killed Wednesday morning in a crash involving a semi-trailer on westbound Highway 58, east of Tehachapi, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred around 7:56 a.m. near Cameron when the truck struck a center divider wall. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
At least one westbound lane was blocked as of 8:45 a.m. The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased at a later time.
