On November 25, 2025, New York State Police responded to a report of a deceased person near railroad tracks along State Route 281 in Cortlandville, New York. A passerby discovered the body and contacted 911.
Police identified the suspect as Robin Bowman, a 59-year-old woman from Findlay, Ohio. It is unclear why she was in the Cortland region. The reason for death is being investigated. Police are continuing to investigate the matter and will provide any information when it becomes available.
