Authorities arrested a 51-year-old man after a search uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, and firearms.
The Bakersfield Police Department reported that on Thursday, September 25, 2025, narcotics detectives, the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents arrested Dario Ramos-Ibarra, 51, on multiple narcotics trafficking and firearm-related charges. Police confirmed Ramos-Ibarra also had several outstanding arrest warrants.
When officers took him into custody, he carried about three pounds of fentanyl and a loaded, unregistered firearm.
Investigators later executed a search warrant at Ramos-Ibarra’s residence. There, they seized two more pounds of fentanyl, roughly ten grams of methamphetamine, 11 ounces of black-tar heroin, more than $5,000 in cash, another firearm, a silencer, and ammunition.
