A 43-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly breaking into a home in northwest Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Officers responded around 6:05 p.m. on October 22, 2025, to a call on the 10000 block of Panther Falls Avenue reporting an unknown intruder inside the residence.
Upon arrival, officers found the homeowner outside the property and confirmed that someone had entered the home. After clearing the residence, police identified and arrested the suspect as Roque Cruz.
Cruz was booked on charges of burglary, robbery, and related offenses. The investigation is ongoing.
