A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 57 late Thursday night injured three people, according to Illinois State Police.
The crash happened around 11:49 p.m., about two miles north of the Pesotum exit. According to authorities, the southbound vehicle went off the highway and collided with a tree.
All three individuals were taken to a neighboring hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
There were no traffic closures recorded, and state police cleared the site.
