Mount Dora Police detained three individuals and recovered many guns and drugs after a traffic check on U.S. Highway 441.
Officers started the stop after observing bicyclists riding without lights, a violation of Florida law.
The investigation resulted in the finding of methamphetamine, THC concentrate, fentanyl, and several firearms, including unsealed 3D-printed handguns with extra ammunition.
The suspects are charged with possession of methamphetamine, THC, and fentanyl; intent to distribute; possession of drug paraphernalia; being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition; possession of a firearm during a felony; resisting an officer without violence; and introducing contraband into a detention facility.
The Mount Dora Police Department praised the Unserialized Delta Shift for their aggressive approach and teamwork in safely resolving the problem.
