Three employees were fatally shot Saturday morning at a landscape supply business in northeast San Antonio, officials confirmed. The suspect was later found dead from what police described as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, the victims—two men and one woman—were all employees of the business. It remains unclear whether the suspect also worked there, and authorities have not yet released any of the victims’ names.
Chief McManus noted that the incident was “not random”, indicating that the suspect and victims were acquainted. Investigators are still working to determine a motive, and initial reports suggested there may have been additional wounded individuals, though that has not been confirmed.
Police initially warned residents to avoid the area while the suspect was believed to be at large. Hours later, Chief McManus announced on social media that the suspect had been located and was deceased, bringing the immediate threat to an end.
