$2 Million winning lottery ticket sold in Ohio

A $2 million lottery ticket was sold in Ohio.

A person in Ripley, Ohio, won the top prize of the Royal Riches $2 million annuity after winning a scratch-off.

The winner chose $80,000 in annual annuity payments for 25 years, before federal and state tax withholdings.

As of September 12, there were five top prizes remaining.

According to the Ohio Lottery, the winner surpassed the odds of one in 500,000 to win. The overall chances of winning a prize are one in 3.95.

The $30 Royal Riches scratch-off ticket was sold at Ripley’s Village Drive Thru on 15 2nd Street.

The store will get a $20,000 sales incentive.
