2 Men Injured And 1 Critically Injured In Shooting In Auburn Gresham

Two men were shot and injured in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood late Saturday night.

At 11:07 p.m., Chicago police said two men, aged 21 and 38, were outside at 85th and Sangamon streets when a black sport-utility vehicle approached. The two men inside the SUV began arguing with the victim before pulling out firearms and shooting them, according to authorities.

The SUV then drove away.

According to police, the elderly male had numerous gunshot wounds and was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition. The younger man was shot in the right thigh and sent to the same hospital in good condition.

There was no one in custody Sunday morning in relation to the incident. Calumet Area cops were investigating.
