According to Montgomery County Police 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos, two juveniles were apprehended on Monday evening during a robbery near the Silver Spring Metro Station.
Around 6 p.m., a dispute between two groups of juveniles resulted in one person being robbed of his backpack. The suspects escaped on foot but were shortly captured by 3rd District officers, who also retrieved the victim’s property.
Police claimed security cameras available to officers helped in the investigation.
