Phoenix Fire’s technical rescue crews responded to two separate mountain rescues Saturday morning.
Crews were dispatched to Camelback Mountain’s Echo Canyon Trail at 9:30 a.m. to assist a hiker with a reported knee injury.
Rescuers found the woman on the trail, but she became dizzy and hot and was unable to descend on her own.
Fire crews utilized a large wheel stretcher to gently transport her down the mountain. She was sent to a local hospital in stable condition.
