A 16-year-old boy has been reported missing after disappearing from a Germantown neighborhood last week, prompting a public plea from Montgomery County detectives for help in finding him.
Yeison Romero Contreras was last seen Thursday about 7 p.m. in the 13400 block of Demetrias Way in Germantown. He’s not been seen or heard from since. Police issued a public alert on Tuesday, as the fifth day of the case with no confirmed sightings.
Contreras is 5’3″ tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans, and black shoes and carrying a black backpack.
The Montgomery County Department of Police’s Special Victims Investigations Division is handling the case, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the department’s 24-hour non-emergency line at (301) 279-8000.
At this point, there is no indication that foul play is suspected. The case continues to be investigated.
