The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department carried out a big operation, serving eleven federal arrest warrants throughout Marshall and nearby counties.
Sheriff Dickerson stated that the operation was the result of a nearly two-year investigation into a highly organized narcotics trafficking gang.
Authorities say the group was responsible for transporting huge amounts of meth, cocaine, and other illegal narcotics through Marshall, DeSoto, Lafayette, and Benton counties.
Those arrested are now facing federal accusations for conspiring to distribute dangerous drugs.
Sheriff Dickerson announced that the investigation is still in progress and anticipates more arrests in the near future.
