According to investigators, one person died as a result of a shooting in south Sacramento Wednesday morning.
The incident took place at Franklin Boulevard and 44th Avenue.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, first responders discovered one individual had been shot and performed CPR.
Deputies said the individual died after being transferred to the hospital.
Two people were apprehended in relation to the event. Only one person was arrested, and the other was discovered not to be involved, according to the sheriff’s office. Pedro Alonzo was arrested.
