York Battles Back In Second Half To Take Down Panthers

Stone Memorial jumped out to a 19-10 first quarter lead and the Panthers held a 34-26 lead at the halftime mark, against York in Jamestown Monday night.

The Dragons clamped down defensively in the third quarter as the game went knotted up at 41 after three quarters of play.

York out scored Stone memorial 17-11 in the fourth quarter on their way to a 58-52 win against the Panthers.

Roger Meadows led both teams in scoring with 19 points. Meadows connected on 9-12 free throws.

Noah Smith tallied 14 points and Riley Cooper scored 12. Nicholas Smith finished out the double digit scorers for the Dragons with 10 points.

Zach Street scored 17 points for Stone Memorial and Will Hecker added 12 points.

Stone Memorial hosts Franklin County Tuesday night at 6 P.M. in Crossville.

The York Dragons host Cookeville tomorrow night in Jamestown at 6 P.M.
