X’s & O’s: White Co. Warriorettes Girls’ Basketball

Last week, the White County High School Warriorettes Basketball team opened their 2021-22 season with a pair of wins on the road. Tuesday, they walloped the Meigs County Tigers 74-38, and on Thursday, won a hard fought game against the Lawrence County Wildcats 62-60.

Tonight, the White County Warriors and Warriorettes play their first home game on the season versus the Franklin County Rebels.

Before they take the court, hear from the Warriorettes about their expectations for the season, how they filled the gaps left by last year’s seniors, and how players on this year’s team are stepping up as leaders.
