X’s & O’s: Cookeville Girls’ Basketball

The Cookeville High School Cavaliers Girls’ Basketball team is undefeated so far in their 2021-22 season. Tonight, they have a shot to win the More Than Basketball Tournament at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville. After Christmas, the Cookeville Cavliers will play their first game of the Tampa Bay Invitational Tournament.

Before they left for Nashville, the Cavaliers talked about how their offseason prepared them for the season, why they have excelled this season, and how players on this year’s team are making in impact.
