Wildcats Overcome Slow Start To Defeat Franklin County

The Livingston Academy Wildcats took on Franklin County on Saturday, and after being down by five at the end of the first, their offense carried them to a 61-43 victory.

The Wildcats took control of the game in the second quarter, when they out-scored Franklin County by a 15-7 count. This gave them a three-point lead heading into the halftime break.

The third quarter saw even more success, with Livingston taking a 42-29 lead into the final quarter.

Franklin County battled the entire fourth, but couldn’t make any dent in the deficit and Livingston won by a final score of 61-43.

Matthew Sells shouldered the load on offense for the Wildcats, as he led all scorers with 25 points. Will McDonald and Parker Coleman each added nine points.
