Wildcats McDonald Named To Class 4A Mr. Football Finalist

Livingston Academy senior quarterback Will McDonald made the cut as one of three players across the state, in Class 4A, for Mr. Football.

McDonald and the Wildcats shattered the LA record books on the way to a 10-0 regular season. McDonald holds school records for passing yardage in a career and career touchdown passes.

Tim Coutras of Nolensville and Ty Youngblood of Greenville are the two other finalist in Class 4A.

Livingston’s football season came to an end last Friday night against Nolensville 33-7.

Both Nolensville and Greenville advanced to the quarterfinals in the TSSAA state playoffs.

Current White County principal, Grant Swallows, is the only other recipient of the Mr. Football or Player of the Year award from Livingston Academy.
