Wildcats Drop First 9 Hole Match At Cumberland Cove

Monterey’s boys golf team dropped their season opener against Upperman Tuesday afternoon at Cumberland Cove. The Bees’, fresh off a solid performance at the Early Bird  Golf Tournament, beat the Wildcats 180 to 210.

Landon Raines shot the low round for the wildcats with a 44. Issac Howard fired in a 51 on the afternoon. J.W. Holloway and John Looney finished with a 57 and 58 respectively.

Monterey will golf again Thursday afternoon at Southern Hills against Upperman and Jackson County.
