Wildcat Basketball Falls Short In OT To Watertown

The Livingston Academy Wildcats battled and manage to tie the game late, but fell just short in a 75-71 overtime defeat at the hands of Watertown.

Matthew Sells hit a jump-shot with just three seconds left to tie the game for LA, who trailed 28-27 at half. Watertown wasn’t phased however, and they out-scored Livingston 11-7 in the extra period to take home the win.

Sells finished with a game-high 24 points, while Nathan Carwile put together his best game of the season with 21 points. Will McDonald added eight points, and Aubrey Hollars scored seven points.

Livingston will take on York Institute on Friday in their next game.
