After averaging 27 points a game and leading the White County Warriors to the Region Tournament in 2019-20, upcoming senior guard Grant Slatten announced via Twitter that he has verbally committed to the University of Mississippi.

The Rebels are currently coached by Kermit Davis, who previously coached Grant’s brother Will at Middle Tennessee State during his tenure there.

In addition to the Rebels, Tennessee Tech, South Florida and New Mexico also offered Slatten a chance to continue his career.
