White Co Falls To Lady Tigers In Overtime

The White County Warriorettes fell to DeKalb County on Tuesday by a final score of 61-60 in Overtime.

The DeKalb defense enjoyed a bulk of their success in the first half, as they kept White County off-balance and held a 33-26 lead at halftime.

The Warriorettes bounced back in the third to cut the lead down to 46-41, and they forced overtime by winning the fourth by a 13-8 count.

The Lady Tiger defense came through in the clutch in overtime, as they held White County to just six points and won by a final score of 61-60.

Gracie Dodgen led the Warriorettes with 19 points, while Alaina Stiles scored 15 points. Julia Curtis scored 14 points and Kanden Reeves added 12 points and five assists.

White County will be back in action on Jan. 10 when they take on Walker Valley, while DeKalb will play Cannon County.
