White Co Defeats Panthers Behind Big Second-Half

The White County Warriors defeated the Stone Memorial Panthers on Tuesday by a final score of 69-45.

Just a seven-point game at halftime, White County stretched the lead out to double-digits by the end of the third frame and took a 47-36 lead into the fourth.

There, they closed the game out behind great defense and timely scoring from Grant Slatten to take home the 24-point victory.

Slatten scored a game-high 22 points, while Masyn Winningham added 14.

Zach Boyd led Stone with 13 points, and Jack Eldridge scored 10 of his own.

White County will hit the road to take on Warren County on Friday, while Stone will host Rhea County.
