Weather Postpones Van Buren’s Tilt With Bledsoe Co To Saturday

The Van Buren Eagles and Eaglettes have decided to postpone their matchup with Bledsoe County to Saturday, according to Eaglettes Head Coach Tyler Sapp.

This comes on the heels of icy weather that was received around the Upper Cumberland late Thursday night/early Friday morning.

Both the girls and boys teams at Van Buren are coming off of victories on Thursday night, as they swept a double-header with Monterey. The Eaglettes took home a 44-28 decision for their fourth win in a row and 10th win of the season.

The Eagles defeated the Wildcats by a final score of 59-58 to move their record to 6-4.
