White County Uses Defense To Defeat Buffaloes Basketball
The White County Warriors used a stellar defensive performance to defeat the Clarkrange Buffaloes by a final score of 66-21.
It was a slow start for the Warriors in the first, but their defense allowed them to still hold a 14-6 lead at the end of one. White County’s defense remained stout in the second, and it allowed the offense to pick up the pace as well.
By the time halftime rolled around, the Warriors held a 36-13 lead.
The Warriors didn’t have to play their starters for very long in the second half, as they coasted to a 66-21 victory.
Masyn Winningham led the team with 13 points, while Grant Slatten added 12. Kade Clark and Kegan Dodson scored 11 points each.
White County will take on Warren County on Saturday in the championship game of the Sonic Shootout.
