Warriors Defeat DeKalb Behind Slatten’s 27

Another day, another big game from White County’s Grant Slatten. He put up 27 points to lead the Warriors to a 73-39 win over DeKalb County.

After a battle in the first that saw DeKalb hang tough, White County used a 26-6 edge in the second quarter to take a commanding 39-16 lead into half.

The second half followed suit, as the Warriors cruised to a 73-39 win.

Joining Slatten in double figures was Masyn Winningham, as he scored 11 on 3-8 shooting from three. Kegan Dodson added nine, while Kade Clark scored eight.

The Warriors will be off until Dec.2, when the take on Siegel. The Tigers will host Red Boiling Springs on Friday.
