The White County Warriorettes fell on the road to Rhea County on Tuesday by a final score of 61-50.
The Warriorettes got off to a slow start in the first quarter, and they found themselves down 17-10 heading into the second.
They got the ball rolling a little better on offense in the second frame, but couldn’t get the necessary stops on defense to cut the lead down. When the first-half buzzer sounded, the Warriorettes trailed 34-27.
Rhea County grew the lead to 11 in the third quarter, and that is where the final margin sat, as the Warriorettes fell by a final score of 61-50.
Gracie Dodgen led White County with 24 points, while Julia Curtis added 13 points and nine rebounds.
White County’s final game of the season will be on Friday when they take on Stone Memorial.
