Warren Co Starts And Finishes Strong Against Tigers Basketball

A 22 point first quarter and a 24 point fourth quarter, propelled the Warren County Pioneer Basketball team to a 72-59 victory, over DeKalb County Monday night in Smithville.

Warren County’s Lacedric Cox led all scorers with 24 points. Cox hit all of his six free throw attempts in the game for the Pioneers.

CJ Taylor contributed 16 points for Warren County and teammate D’Lano Spates added 15. Spates hit all six of his free throw attempts as well.

DeKalb County had three players score in double figures. Luke Jenkins scored 12 points for the Tigers. Dallas Cook added 11 points and Evan Jones scored 10 points on the night.

Warren County plays tomorrow night at 6 P.M. in Tullahoma vs the Wildcats.

DeKalb County travels to White County to take on the Warriors who suffered their first loss of the season tonight against Coffee County.
