Warren Co Athletics Shut Down Due To Rising Number Of Covid-19 Cases

Per a release from Warren County High School Athletic Director Todd Wilmore, athletics at both the middle school and high school will be shut down effective on Thursday and will run through Nov. 19.

The Pioneers basketball team has a home game against Community on the 17th, and they are currently working to reschedule that contest, according to the release.

Wilmore cites the rising numbers of Covid-19 positive cases and quarantined students as reasons for the shutdown.

The team is currently planning to play it’s Nov. 20 game at Moore County as scheduled.
