Upperman Lady Bees Basketball Back in Semifinals

The Upperman Lady Bees took down the Elizabethon Fighting Cyclones 59-42 in the 3A quarterfinals of the BlueCross Basketball Championships this morning. The Lady Bees find themselves back in the semifinals for the first time since 2020 when COVID cut the tournament short. Abigail Johnson led Upperman with 24 points and 7 rebounds while 3A Miss Basketball Finalist Brooklyn Crouch added 15 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Upperman will play Creek Wood in the 3A semifinals Friday morning at 11:15 at Middle Tennessee State University.
