UCSN Featured: York Track & Field’s Reese Beaty Qualifies for State

This season, Reese Beaty – a freshman track & field athlete at Alvin C. York – competed in the discus throw and shotput throw. She qualified for the 2022 TSSAA Class A State Track & Field Championship in both events.

Tomorrow, the state championship will take place at Hayes Stadium in Murfreesboro. Ahead of the competition, we sat down with Beaty to ask about her run this season. In this UCSN Feature, Reese tells us about her approach to her events, what it means to be successful as a freshman, and how she is motivated moving forward.
