WCHS Alum Bella Taylor Helps Host UC Basketball Camp

Earlier this month, thirteen current and former college basketball players from across the Upper Cumberland hosted the UC Basketball Camp at Algood Elementary. Coach Layne Bussell of Algood and Coach Ezra Pinzur of Alabama Huntsville coordinated and also coached the event.

Among the players volunteering was Bella Taylor. Taylor is a graduate of White County High School from the class of 2015. From there, Bella went on to further her academic and athletic career at The University of The South in Sewanee, Tennessee.

While Taylor’s time competing between the lines has drawn to a close, her love for basketball does not waver. Now, Bella uses her skills and relationships to give back to the community – this time through the Upper Cumberland Basketball Camp.

In this UCSN Feature, hear from Bella Taylor about what drives her to teach the youth through sports, how the Upper Cumberland shaped her athletic career, and how she hopes to have an affect on young UC athletes.
