Tuesday Night Boys Hoops Recap: Rush’s Double-Double Leads Upperman To Win
Upperman 50, Mt. Juliet 38
Alex Rush put together a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bees over Mt. Juliet 50-38.
Collin Gore added 13 points, while Isaiah Allen added 12 points.
Upperman will be back in action on Friday in the Lebanon Christmas Tournament.
Warren County 48, Cannon County 41
Warren County won their third consecutive game on Tuesday with their 48-41 win over Cannon County.
Dee Spates led the team in scoring with 18 points, while C.J. Taylor added 14 points.
The Pioneers will play at Coffee County next Monday.
Watertown 90, Jackson County 70
The Jackson County Blue Devils just couldn’t come up with the needed stops on Tuesday, leading to a 90-70 loss to Watertown.
Eli Burris led the team with 23 points, while Andrew Allen scored 11 points. Ramon Cuevas scored 10 points of his own.
The Blue Devils will host Mt. Pleasant on Saturday.
Sunbright 62, Monterey 55
Both teams battled back and forth on Tuesday, but it was Sunbright who walked away with a 62-55 win over Monterey.
LT Sullivan led the Wildcats with 20 points, and Silas Randolph scored 13 points. Tucker Phillips was the only other double-digit scorer with 11 points.
Monterey will be back in action on Friday against Macon County.
