Tigers, White Co, And Livingston Academy, Prepare For State Golf

Practice rounds are underway for three local golf teams, at the State Golf Tournament, at Willowbrook Golf Club in Manchester.

The White County boys qualified as a team with their win at regions last week in Cookeville.

Jarrett Glass, Jeremiah Gardenhire and Tyson Welch, all need to have low rounds for the Warriors on Tuesday and Wednesday for White County to contend at State.

DeKalb County’s Anna Chew looks to build off of her low score of the season at the region tournament from last week. Chew carded a season low 65 at the Golden Eagle Country Club to win her region.

Zoey Budzilek of Livingston Academy also qualified for on the individual side if the tournament.

All three groups start their practice rounds today at Willowbrook.
